About Us

Dear Friends,

The home to our collectibles is in Homewood, a suburb of Birmingham.

For those who have seen our collection and noticed the new designs that are made each year, you know that there are now many ornaments, which are appropriate for weddings, anniversary, birth and birthday gifts.

Your Christmas tree is like a scrapbook. Each year when you take out those ornaments and hang them lovingly on your tree you will remember something special about the ornament, where you got it and what was going on in your life that Christmas. And your children will remember something special. Those memories last a life time and become family traditions.

We are excited about being a dealer for such an unusual gift market. Our heart goes into every purchase in hopes that an image draws you to a memory or moment that will make them a commemorative object for you, your family, or for your friends.

Pete Partin and Lee Bell - Owners

Bob Pleasant and owner Pete Partin. She is  wearing a colorful Radko sweater.

Pete Partin, owner, loves anything Christmas, Halloween, Thanksgiving and any other reason to celebrate. She started collecting holiday items when she lived in Germany in the 60's.  She loves sewing and knitting and embroidery. This picture  is Pete in a jacket she made that is shown in Barbara Randle's book "More CRAZY Quilting with Attitude". She has many other hobbies... loves to read, is a gourmet cook, loves to play duplicate bridge and lives in Homewood, Alabama.

Lee Bell, owner, is the crazy person (along with Archie the cat) behind the website. I don't know if I was crazy before ..it depends on who you ask...but I sure am crazy now.  It is a full time job keeping the website current.....well... trying to keep the website current...so that is why you don't see me in Birmingham... that and the fact that I live in Orlando, Florida. I love anything that has to do with any kind of art. I have a great collection of antique Halloween goodies and a very large collection of children's books. In my spare time I love to read, draw and sculpt. Oh yes...one other thing...Pete Partin and I are sisters. So we have a great time when we get together no matter what we are doing.

These are pictures of the inside of the shop and the life size Santa Claus that was made with loving hands for the opening of the original shop on Oak Grove Road over 10 years ago. I think Santa has gone back to the North Pole to make more toys because he hasn't been seen around for awhile. He said something about a heat wave right before he left.

It was a dark and stormy night.....no that's not right.....Many years ago in a far off distant land....no that's not right either. Well in another life Lee and Pete were entertaining one of their friends. This is a picture from our past in case anyone is paying attention.
